La vingtième compilation de Red Hot (organisation qui soutient la recherche contre le sida), sortie en février, était l’occasion d’un grand rassemblement de la scène indie (Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine…).
“Tightrope” trouve sa voie dans ses polyrythmies et son chant envoûtant, et se glisse dans la droite lignée du premier effort du groupe de Brooklyn.

[EN] After releasing the exciting All Hour Cymbals in 2007, Yeasayer, the most world-music inspired of today’s indie bands, got involved in the LP Dark Was the Night earlier this year. The twentieth of Red Hot Organization compilations, released in February, was the opportunity of a great gathering of the indie pop-rock scene (Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine…).
“Tightrope” finds its way with its polyrhythms and its enchanting singing, and takes its place alongside the first not-to-be-missed effort by the Brooklyn band.
