Lorsque le renommé label de Brooklin, Daptone Records, prévoit de sortir un disque, il faut toujours garder un oeil dessus. On a souvent le droit à une petite pépite de soul/funk.
Le 24 novembre sort la compilation Daptone Gold comprenant 23 titres de “classiques” du label, mais aussi des raretés et des nouveautés parfois sorties uniquement en 45 tours. Le disque sera édité sous la forme d’un cd digipack en édition deluxe accompagné de son booklet, mais aussi en version double LP accompagné de goodies (poster, stickers, etc).
En attendant le 24, on se régale avec le titre “Stand Up” de Lee Fields and Sugarman & Co. issu de la compilation à paraître sur le shop de Daptone.
