→ This week! Leaning to the funky house side of things with three amazing tracks, "Hummingbird" by Melbourne, Australia based Harvey Sutherland, "The Punk Automata", by Felipe Gordon from Bogota, Colombia - inspired by Armand Van Helden' 90's classic "The Funk Phenomena", and "Invinsible Summers" by French producer Hugo LX (actually a re-release from his 2016 LP "The Diary / The Sanctuary". Funky synth, groovy basslines, love it! Heading to Fortaleza, Brazil with some forró by Messias Holanda, and wrapping this up in Dominica with the great Ophélia's "Red Light Lady".

→ This week! New single Râler by Togo's afro-funk craze Peter Solo's Vaudou Game with "Koliko" as a B-side! A pleasant surprise with a Canadian-Brazilian collaboration, Badbadnotgood and Tim Bernardes (from the great O Terno) teaming up to release the beautiful "Poeira Cosmica". Another release from Canada with Montreal-based Poirier releasing his new LP Quiet Revolution with the single "Agua Oro" with Colombian-based singer Ramon Chicharron. We also pay tribute to two greats who passed away recently... Quincy Jones's legacy includes iconic theme music of American TV shows, including "Sanford and Son", "The French Prince of Bel-Air", and "Hikky Burr" for "The Bill Cosby Show", that was included in his 1970 LP Smackwater Jack. Also paying tribute to American sax-player Lou Donaldson with a soul-jazz version of Gershwin's classic "Summertime" on Blue Note back in 1969. Enjoy!
