→ Starting off the week back in the UK dancefloor jazz scene from the 80/90's with strong latin flavors and the new Chris Bangs (pioneer of acid jazz), then off to the vibrant Melbourne scene with house duo Close Counters's new EP "THE DON" then to Medellin and Lagos with Colombia based Bosq and Benin/Nigeria guitarist Kaleta partnering for an entire new album. Looking back at 2015's LP from Yemenite-Israeli sisters trio A-WA and wrapping it up in Cape Verde with some coladeira by national icons Os Apolos. Enjoy!

→ Latin psychedelia is in the air this week... Starting off with a great Spanish-Chilean collaboration between Lorenzo Soria and Sebastián Orellana, then off to Paris with the first EP of former Le Mellotron resident DJ Marina Trench, then to Amsterdam with the absolutely beautiful "Juicy" by Venezuelian-Portuguese Alex Figueira. Paying tribute to Erasmo Carlos (Brazil) as well, who passed away two weeks ago, as well as first jazz flautist ever recorded Alberto Socarras.

→ This week, we're paying tribute to Brazilian singer, Salvador born, Gal Costa, who sadly passed away on November 9. From bossa nova to tropicalia and MPB, she was one of Brazil's most iconic voices. Also, SAULT released 5 free albums at once only available for download for 5 days (one of which, "11", became available on streaming platforms last Friday), Tour-Maubourg's new single from his upcoming second album and Rahill's debut. Feels like fall's eventually in the air!
